A few notes for your visit:

The nearest Town and Train station is Chiplun, Maharashtra. We're about 5-6hrs from either North Goa or Mumbai. If you need assistance booking a train please let us know as soon as possible so we can secure you a seat.

Reaching the House can be made easier with our village rickshaw wala, Ashish. Also let us know if you would like us to arrange a pickup service from Chiplun bus or Train station. He charges ₹500 for the ride and you pay him directly.

The food provided during your visit is predominantly vegetarian though we do also eat Non-Veg, with rice as the basis of the gluten-free option. If you do have specific dietary needs please let us know, but don't feel shy to also bring your own food items if you need certain foods or snacks in your diet.

What Red Earth boasts in natural beauty and creativity, it lacks in mobile network! We do have wifi which is available daily, however occasionally power cuts do affect us. Please keep this in mind if you have to be online for your practice or work.

For your individual crafts + practices, please bring your own materials to work with, such as paints, fabrics or a yoga mat!
This year there are a few changes in how we welcome folks to Red Earth House. As our family has grown from 3 to 4, we're unable to host overnight stays, however we didn't want this to mean that you would miss out on the opportunity of enjoying Red Earth House. So we present to you, the "Day Pass".
You will have access to the space from 10am - 6pm, to explore the surrounding environment, enjoy the space for your creative pursuits, relaxation and socialising. We provide a home cooked Lunch in the Day Pass, which you're welcome to join in with creating and learn some Indian culinary skills.
We still really see Red Earth House as a giant play centre for creativity and shared endeavours. Whether your speciality is food, yoga, art, music or simply being in nature; we want to hold space for that exploration in this simple rural environment.
There is an abundance of guesthouses in Chiplun town to choose from online for your night time stay, however if you did want some recommendations please don't feel shy to ask. We can also suggest some good local food spots to eat at to try some classic Konkan meals or Maharashtrian breakfasts!
There is no limitation on the number of days you can book as a "Day Pass" either in conjunction with a Tattoo visit or by itself.
